The Cascades Club golf course, re-designed by PGA Tour player Mark Hayes provides a fun experience for players at any skill level, features an immaculately groomed 18-hole championship facility. Lush, tour-quality greens and broad fairways wind among tall oak and pine trees, with many holes set alongside scenic lakes on the golf course. Perhaps there is no better example than the stunning back drop framed by Lake Bellwood greeting you on your first tee shot of the day. The temperate East Texas climate makes this a yearlong course, and four sets of tees and strategic bunkering makes The Cascades Club a fun but challenging test of golf for every player. The course is rated at 74.2 with a slope rating of 137 from the back tees and measures 6,944 yards, providing excitement throughout your round. Water comes into play on ten of the eighteen holes and there are over 50 well-positioned bunkers throughout the course. Many in the golf community believe that The Cascades Club offers the finest golf venue and clubhouse in all of East Texas!

The St. Louis Southwestern Railroad, best known as the Cotton Belt, was originated in Tyler as the Tyler Tap, a narrow gaunge line built to carry cotton and produce to the town of Big Sandy. The museum is located in the Cotton Belt Depot, which served railroad passengers from 1905 until 1956.
